Abstract
MUDD, an acronym for my understanding through dialogue and debate, is a teaching-learning strategy that assists learners in understanding a particular topic. MUDD mapping can be used as an independent activity carried out by learners in a study group or by a faculty member to conduct an assessment of how well learners are grasping the subject. The authors describe how MUDD mapping was used and illustrates how faculty can facilitate its application in a teaching-learning activity.
