Abstract
The author describes a combined didactic, case study course designed to help students learn to make more accurate clinical decisions. The course introduced principles of critical thinking, human science paradigm, and emphasized decision making in clinical practice. The objective was to develop student's abilities to more accurately interpret patient information and respond to nurse patient encounters.
