Abstract

A collaborative community health education project connecting a science and history museum and a university school of nursing is described. This highly successful partnership connected senior community health nursing students with public education programs of the museum that focused on human body functioning, health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention. This project serves as a model for various other educational partnerships, including programs in the sciences, arts, humanities, and history.
