Abstract
With reduced budgets, few resources, minimal time allotted for education, and a long list of topics to cover, staff development and inservice educators often find it difficult to implement cost-effective, comprehensive mandatory education programs. Upper Valley Medical Center's annual mandatory education program via the computer was created to address these issues and resulted in substantial cost-savings as well as increased employee satisfaction.
