A lack of teamwork from nursing assistants is common and describing it is valid ("Another New Beginning," Diary of a New Nurse, November 2009). But saying "Getting patients out of bed and turning them was a significant part of my job, and it's a monotonous and exhausting responsibility" is disconcerting. This is part of our job, as well as that of the nursing assistants. If we work together, it might not be so taxing. I wonder if the nursing assistants think it's monotonous and exhausting.
