I am proud to be a nurse and receive AJN after reading "Change Happens" (Editorial, August). I-am appalled by what's occurred during our national debate about health care reform. The shouting, the disrespect-what about having an honest discussion, with differing opinions, so that we can best provide for everyone rather than just for those who have money? I've lived in both Canada and the United Kingdom and enjoyed the benefits of their health care systems. No, they weren't perfect, but ours isn't either. Just go to an ED and observe.
