New diagnoses, sudden injury, and episodic exacerbations rock the world of children with neurological disease. Those of us who care for these children are privileged to be part of their lives at a time when they are most vulnerable. As we provide care for them, we witness their perseverance and courage as they face challenges that may affect them for a lifetime.
Pediatric neuroscience nurses share a passion for these special children and their families. Some of that passion is reflected in the articles you'll read in this issue of JNN.

JNN Call For Reviewers
The Journal of Neuroscience Nursing (JNN) is seeking individuals to review manuscripts prior to publication. As a peer reviewer, you will provide feedback to authors based on clinical, administrative, or research expertise. Reviews are completed electronically with the use of an online tool; all reviews are blinded. Typically, you will be asked to return manuscripts with suggested revisions within a 2-week period. If you are interested, please complete the new reviewer form on the JNN page of the AANN Web site (http://www.AANN.org/journal/index.htm) and submit it to [email protected] with an electronic cover letter briefly outlining your reasons for wanting to become a reviewer.
