I appreciate your perspective and advocacy for people with disabilities. Writing a scholarly article that will appeal to a large audience, professionally and spiritually, is no easy task. As I worked on this with authors from public universities, it was a fine line of boundaries. I am grateful that we have a journal such as JCN that allows Christian nurses to disseminate scholarly work that includes scripture and biblical perspectives.

Thank you for the additional resources. I recently discovered Joni & Friends and have utilized their resources extensively. I look forward to reviewing the others as I move forward with a new disability ministry program in my own local church. Lastly, thanks for the reminder regarding the inclusion of parish nurses. Our program supports and utilizes parish nurses as a vital component to the success of ministering with families affected by disability.
