Congratulations to Diana Mason for taking her health into her own hands and finding the tools needed to lose weight ("Here's What's Happened to Rubenesque," Editorial, May).
I am a retired nurse who has dealt with addictive issues in my life. I've quit smoking, become vegan, and wrestled with my weight for most of my adult life. I am now 52 and at my lowest weight ever. It can be done!!
I wish more nurses presented a better picture of health and nutrition. I shake my head when I think about the food we used to have in our ICU lounge.
