This interactive session will explore how to transform a culture of silence into a culture of candid and respectful dialogue by using proven methods of communication and influence, setting clear expectations, and identifying behaviors that can stifle candid communication.

The diversity of these topics certainly reflects the richness and breadth of our specialty. in keeping with the tradition of the annual course, we hope the following abstracts will encourage discussions for improving nursing practice and patient care outcomes.
