This class will provide a didactic component covering topics of interventional endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedures, EUS anatomy, and endo bronchial ultrasound (EBUS). This hands-on session will cover use of the ultrasound processor keyboard during the EUS procedure, EBUS balloon application, EBUS-guided trans bronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) and proper scope handling, as well as reprocessing. A phantom model will be available to simulate an actual fine needle aspiration (FNA).
