This issue begins the 11th year of JONA Law. By the time you read this, our journal will have an increased online presence in that we will be using editorial manager for the processing of manuscripts. I hope that you will take the opportunity to submit an article for publication this year. Additional details are available in our information for authors. This issue's CEU feature discusses the hot topic of criminal charges for nursing errors. I trust you will find it to be an informative primer on criminal law as it pertains to nurses, as well as an interesting discussion of several high-profile cases in which nurses have been criminally charged for errors. Our other feature article discusses an interesting approach to dealing with moral distress among healthcare providers in the form of a facilitated ethics conversation. This year should prove to be another interesting one in the healthcare field, with the start of a new administration in Washington. Have you had the opportunity to participate in one of the Obama administration's town hall meetings on healthcare? We would be interested in hearing from you about your participation and the trends of the discussions. As always, your input is invaluable in shaping the content of this journal. Here's to another roller-coaster year ahead.
