Abstract
This review explores the incidence and prevalence of Crohn's disease in the United States, nutrition therapy during remission and during active disease, the nutritional consequences of the disease, and the role of conventional therapies in adults with Crohn's disease. In addition, the roles of new alternative therapies such as omega-3 fatty acids and probiotics are explored
