MicroBright is a disposable, single-use device that incorporates LumitexMD's patented LED-based fiber optic technology to provide cool, bright, shadowless light utilizing a 6-layer fiber optic panel that radiates a bright area of light within the surgical cavity.
MicroBright's small size is an ideal surgical illuminator for numerous plastic surgery procedures such as nose reconstruction, genioplasty, platysmaplasty, thyroglossal duct cysts, thyroids and parathyroids, cleft palates, face lifts and tonsillectomies, as well as orthopedic procedures including hip revisions and Oxford unicon-dylar partial knee surgery, and virtually any other small-incision procedure requiring additional light.
MicroBright features a thin, malleable member that provides minimal retraction and allows the surgeon to shape the MicroBright for optimal positioning. Its edgeless design minimizes tissue trauma while adhesive strips allow it to be easily attached to most retractors. MicroBright comes with a mini light cable connector for connection to a 2.5 mm cable and is supplied in boxes of 5 MicroBright units.
Surgical smoke removal with battery-operated evacuator
