About a year ago, I bought two old issues of Nursing at a garage sale. Reading them got me so interested in nursing and medicine that my wife has given me my own subscription to Nursing.

The most impressive thing I've learned is about nurses themselves. I never realized how much these women and men were required to know, but now my eyes have been opened. I hope that someday all physicians will come to fully appreciate the knowledge and compassion that nurses provide to their patients.
