WUWHS

Wound care clinicians are invited to submit abstracts for the Third Congress of the World Union of Wound Healing Societies (WUWHS), June 4-8, 2008, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. All abstracts must be submitted in English through the WUWHS abstract management system at http://www.wuwhs2008.ca.

Late abstract submission dates are still offered for the meeting. The late submission deadline is September 15, 2007. Late acceptance notification is December 15, 2007; deadline for late acceptance to present is January 15, 2008. Formats include poster only and poster (and oral presentation if selected). Abstracts must not exceed 300 words and must relate to one of the conference streams: burns; evidence base, education; foot ulcers, including persons with diabetes; health care systems; infection; leg ulcers; local wound bed; malignant, inflammatory, and other ulcers; quality of life; pain; patient empowerment; peristomal conditions and skin care; postoperative surgical and treatment wounds; pressure ulcers; research stream; and wound care challenges in the developing world.
