After reading "Violence and Nursing" (AJN Reports, February), I discussed the "code for violence" with my colleagues, and we hope to institute a similar team at our facility soon. We have been victims of violence at work, especially from family members. Many nurses don't realize that they can photograph their injuries and file criminal reports.
