Abstract
As Tina and Jim watched little Carrie painfully suck in every breath, their hearts were wracked with pain. Diagnosed twenty-three months earlier with neuroblastoma, a solid tumor cancer of the sympathetic nervous system in children, Carrie was dying. Carrie, her identical twin sister, Carly and her parents had suffered immeasurably the past two years fighting this nasty cancer. The next morning, two weeks before her fourth birthday, Carrie drew her last agonizing breath. The fight was over.
