Foreign bodies, alkaline solution ingestions, and food impactions are common occurrences in pediatric patients. This session will present several examples of foreign body ingestion, including presentation, treatment, prognosis, and some ways of educating the community about prevention of accidental ingestions.

We are pleased to present the abstracts from SGNA's 34th Annual Course, Charting a Course for Professional Growth. The diversity of these topics certainly reflects the richness and breadth of our specialty.
