In the article titled: Fundamentals of Phototherapy for Neonatal Jaundice by Laura A. Stokowski, RN, MS, published in Advances in Neonatal Care, Volume 6 Number 6, page 307, the incorrect picture was displayed in Figure 8. A halogen spot phototherapy device should have accompanied the legend, which reads, "Halogen spot light phototherapy system." The device displayed was the Giraffe SpotPT Phototherapy System based upon metal halide technology, which generates the therapeutic bandwidth and intensities recommended by the most recent American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines but without the risk for overheating or burns.
