Further, the authors refer to "the NDNQI prevalence and incidence study." At this time, NDNQI^(R) does not offer an incidence indicator specific to pressure injuries.

The authors also note that "Hospitals conduct NDNQI prevalence and incidence studies quarterly." However, this is not accurate; NDNQI^(R) member organizations may submit prevalence data either monthly or quarterly at the organization's discretion.

Finally, NDNQI^(R) offers all clients the ability to use an Excel upload option for the majority of indicators including the Pressure Injury Prevalence Study, which was not clearly stated in the article.
