In the article titled "Short bowel syndrome with intestinal failure in adults," published on pages 29-35, Volume 53, Issue 6 of Nursing 2023, a word was missing from a sentence in the second paragraph. The second should read:

"After carefully screening her health history, she qualified for treatment with teduglutide. She responded favorably to this medication with a significant increase in her short bowel wall thickness over 6 months, corresponding to a weight gain and an increase in her energy levels."

The sentence has been corrected in the version online.
