APWCA

The American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA) is seeking abstract submissions for oral presentations and poster exhibits at its 2007 national clinical conference. Next year's conference, "Wound Care and the Related Sciences," will be held April 19-22, 2007, in Philadelphia, PA.

In addition, the APWCA's Western Conference will be held on November 4, 2006, at the Red Lion Seattle Airport Hotel, Seattle, WA. A multidisciplinary faculty will provide attendees with the opportunity to earn continuing education credit while learning about the latest topics in wound care, including updates on insurance, Medicare issues, and more. APWCA programming is designed to encourage attendee interaction with the faculty and provide clinically relevant information that practitioners can use in daily practice. The registration fee is $150, which includes meals. Nurses can earn up to 9.6 CE hours; physicians (MDs, DOs, and DPMs) can earn up to 8 CME credits.
