Thank you for the uplifting photograph on the cover of the July issue. Ed Eckstein's portrayal of the nurse and patient enjoying a hearty laugh provides refreshing evidence that the rewards of nursing come from connecting with patients. I could almost hear the laughter and feel the levity they shared. The photograph conveys an essential truth: even in the face of adversity, one can experience joy.
