I want to compliment Nursing on the excellent article, "Straight Talk about Ovarian Cancer" (April 2005). I'm a stage IIIC ovarian cancer survivor and a board member of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance in Washington, D.C. I've also started a branch, the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon and Southwest Washington. One of our missions is to speak to health care professionals, including nursing and medical students, about ovarian cancer. We use this article as a reference for our talks.
