After 3 decades of being an active participative member of the Editorial Board of Nursing Administration Quarterly (NAQ), I have decided to resign effective April 22, 2006.
Since I was appointed member of the Editorial Board at the inception of the journal, it truly has been an enlightening experience to have witnessed the beginnings of the journal as well as to have observed it as it matured over the years and became a renowned nursing administration journal both nationally and internationally.
It indeed has been a great learning experience for me to have collaborated with the members of the Editorial Board who represent executive leadership in a variety of organizations throughout the country. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed authoring manuscripts for NAQ as well as fulfilling the role of "Guest Editor."
Barbara, you have been a mentor and a friend over the years, and I sincerely have enjoyed working with you and will always cherish the collegial bond that we have developed and shared. I thank you.
Lastly, I wish you, Barbara, and the Editorial Board continued success as you advance NAQ into the 21st century.
Warm regards,
