HEALTHPOINT, Fort Worth, TX, has been granted a Recognition Award for Online Continuing Medical Education Programs from the American Podiatric Medical Association for its Web site, http://TheWoundInstitute.com. The company launched this site in April 2005 as an online source for accredited wound care education designed for physicians, nurses, nursing home administrators, and podiatrists. As of 2006, the program has expanded its offerings to pharmacists.
