As a nursing student, I was inspired by Daniel Blasini's compassion for Americans wounded in the Iraq war and his determination to help them ("Missed Dreams,"Profiles, February). His example has encouraged me to spend a few extra minutes with patients and to try to make their days a little better. His story is a good reminder that each person handles grief differently and that humor can be useful.
