I'm a new administrator at a small medical oncology clinic. I work with five nurses who give excellent patient care, which includes giving patients rationales for what they're doing. We all thought your article "Reopen the pipeline for I.V. therapy" (August 2005) was excellent. We're planning to use the illustrations as a teaching reference for our patients to help them understand and visualize how catheters can become occluded.
