These lightweight products are made of a breathable vinyl mesh outer shell filled with nonabsorbent polystyrene beads. The bead-filled design helps the product conform to the patient's body, and the ventilated fabric allows air to flow through the product, keeping the patient cool. Concealed zippers allow caregivers to add or remove beads to suit the patient's needs. Refill kits are also available.
