Baxa CyTwo-Fer(TM) Needle
Baxa Ltd introduces the CyTwo-Fer(TM) Needle, a new product designed to perform the work of 2 devices. The hub design of the CyTwo-Fer Needle provides vented access to vials and non-vented access to IV bags. This allows bags and vials to be accessed in one procedure, thus avoiding the expense and time spent when changing needles. The CyTwo-Fer(TM) Needle also has a Huber point that is designed to allow users to direct liquid flow into the vial to reduce foaming during admixture. Its 0.2 micron vent filter was created to prevent environmental contamination during cytotoxic drug reconstitution and to allow for safe vial reconstitution, aspiration, and subsequent injection of drugs into bags or other IV devices. Another feature of the CyTwo-Fer(TM) Needle is the filtered vent that balances air pressure in the vial or container for quick and easy liquid addition. CyTwo-Fer(TM) Needles are only available in Europe. For more information, visit http://www.baxa.com.

EPS/Medi-dose IV PRO Site Protector
EPS has introduced a new addition to its IV accessory product line, the IV PRO(TM) Site Protector. The IV PRO consists of a clear cover, allowing for easy inspection of the IV site without disturbing the needle or catheter, and flexible wings that enable it to be attached to difficult body areas and insertion sites.
