From left, Karen Ballard, director of special projects for the New York State Nurses Association; Greer Glazer, chairwoman of the ANA PAC; Erin Murphy, chairwoman of the Minnesota Nurses Association PAC; and Shari Dexter, ANA staff member, were among the seven nurses representing the ANA at the Democratic National Convention in Boston in July. According to Ballard, "It was exciting to see that health care is definitely a high priority for the Democrats and an important part of their agenda."
