As the National Conference for Nurse Practitioners (NCNP) gets underway, you may be wondering what to expect this year as far as sessions, exhibits, workshops, and networking opportunities. The topics at NCNP 2004 have a strong focus on adult and family practice, but there are other specialty topics available including business and legal sessions, pediatrics, geriatrics, women's health, and more.

There's still time to register for The Nurse Practitioner's National Conference for Nurse Practitioners (NCNP). The conference runs from October 27-30 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Call 1-800-346-7844, ext. 7798 or 7750, to join us in promoting nurse practitioner excellence.

The NCNP program has been revamped to streamline sessions that are in high demand, yet still offers a mix of various other practical specialty topics. Day 1 begins in the afternoon with two sets of breakout sessions just before the Keynote/Opening Address and the Grand Opening of the Exhibit Hall. The next 2 full days offer ample opportunity to attend sessions as well as hands-on workshops-one of the major reasons attendees enjoy this conference. The last day consists of half-day sessions, which will leave attendees with plenty of time to get home for Halloween!!

No conference is complete without some built-in relaxation time. That's why attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy many extracurricular activities during their stay in Baltimore, including a dinner theater production of Miss Saigon and a "Best of Baltimore" tour that will take you to all the hot spots around town.

NCNP is a conference for NPs who truly want to advance their practice, and we hope you agree that this year's new program will help you attain your educational and professional goals!!The Nurse Practitioner staff looks forward to seeing you in Baltimore!!
