NANN activities included the worldwide release of our new "What is Neonatal Nursing?" video, a look back at how far the profession has come, industry wishes to neonatal nurses, our first-ever parent-authored Footprints: Stories from the NICU article and an encore of our 2017 Thank You Nurses video.

In NICUs across the world and all social networks, neonatal nurses celebrated this amazing profession. Thank you for all you do!

NANN 35TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE RECAP: SaNANNah!

SaNANNah was simply amazing! Over 900 neonatal nurses dusted off their southern charm from October 9 to 12 to learn about trending clinical topics and research, network with neonatal peers and industry experts, and enjoy the local festivities and amenities. It really was our best neonatal nursing celebration yet!

Highlights included keynote addresses on inspiring change, addressing vaccine hesitancy, and nurse innovation, as well as a late-breaking bonus general session on transcatheter closure of patent ductus arteriosus, and so many opportunities for networking and fun. Attendees danced the night away all decked in NANN blue at NANN After Dark, connected on the conference app and shared the celebration on social to keep neonatal nurses near and far updated on everything SaNANNah. Check out NANN's Facebook page for our conference slide show and search #SaNANNah on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see attendee experiences on social.

Get ready to groove to some jazz music because this celebration is heading to New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2020! Our 36th Annual Conference, scheduled for September 23 to 26, has so much in store. Look for more details as they become available about this perfect getaway destination!

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT FOR NANN'S 2020 CONFERENCE

The NANN Program Planning Committee 2020 Call for Abstracts is now open. NANN and the Program Planning Committee invite you to submit an abstract during the 2020 Annual Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, September 23 to 26, 2020. Deadline to apply is January 7, 2020.

The planning committee has identified the need to cover a wide range of topics that will appeal to both the novice and expert neonatal nurses. As a result, we have provided a list of topics and areas of interest in order to make the application selection process less cumbersome and more diverse to better meet the educational needs of the conference attendees. The list is not inclusive and is only meant to serve as a guide when submitting your abstract. We encourage you to suggest your own ideas, present your own research findings, or share your knowledge on a topic of interest. Please keep in mind that application submissions should focus on nursing, be state-of-the-art, evidence-based, and challenge neonatal nurses at all levels of expertise.
