"Nurses Fight for the Right to Vote" (Looking Back, November 2018) was a wonderful, well-documented, and interesting look at nurses' roles in securing the right to vote for women. It was also very timely given the recent midterm elections. The votes of women this past November turned the tide in many states, and we saw a record number of women of various races, ethnicities, and religions elected. We give thanks to those suffragettes who worked, prayed, marched, and suffered for our right to vote.
