Abstract
As clinical research for cardiac care improves, practices we were taught years ago may now be outdated or inaccurate. New and old medications are being used in new ways and there are new approaches to assess and monitor changes. This article explores five common cardiac care myths and provides practice guidelines based on scientific evidence.
