The 60th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition will be held in San Diego Dec. 1-4. Attendees will have access to thousands of scientific abstracts highlighting cutting-edge research in hematology. ASH-a-Palooza

When: Friday, Nov. 30, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 

Where: Petco Park (across from the Convention Center)

 

What: Trainee Day has been reimagined at this year's conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a new educational experience that will offer "a relaxed, open learning environment for trainees in a festival-like setting with multiple opportunities for micro learning." The event is free and does not require registration, but attendance will be limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

The event will include a number of interactive learning opportunities, including the following:

 

* "ASH Talks" will be presented from the visitors' dugout.

 

* Rapid-fire learning sessions ("Blood Drops") will allow the audience to move easily between each presentation.

 

* Trainees will be able to enjoy ballpark-style food during breaks, and can visit information booths to learn about the latest opportunities in hematology.
