Abstract: Esophageal perforation (EP) can be a complication of radiofrequency ablation, a standard treatment for certain patients with drug-refractory atrial fibrillation. This article discusses the etiology, clinical manifestations, and diagnosis of EP, as well as nursing care for patients with EP.
