NANN CELEBRATES NEONATAL NURSES DAY 2017!
On September 15, NANN celebrated Neonatal Nurses Day, and all neonatal nurses, with our 2017 theme, "We Save Babies." As neonatal nurses, you go above and beyond to ensure that each one of your patients and their family members receive the care and compassion they need. The days are long and difficult, but immensely rewarding, and we thank you for sharing your healing hands and generous hearts!
On Neonatal Nurses Day, NANN and neonatal nurses celebrated this amazing profession in neonatal intensive care units across the world. Many nurses donned "We Save Babies" and NANN apparel, and hundreds shared social media shout-outs to their units and pictures of their own Neonatal Nurses Day festivities. Thank you for all you do!
NANN'S 33rd ANNUAL CONFERENCE
What a week NANN had in Providence! Nearly 700 neonatal nurses took Rhode Island by storm, October 11-14, to learn about trending clinical topics and research, network with neonatal peers and industry experts, and enjoy New England in the fall. And while the weather started out as balmy as summer, the week ended with crisp autumn days and nights.
Highlights included a late-breaking session on neonatal abstinence syndrome, an exciting update on artificial womb research, amazing keynote speakers, NANN's first-ever conference buddy program, and so many opportunities for networking and fun. One of the area's first brewpubs played host to the second Annual NANN After Dark, where conference attendees enjoyed an evening out on the town. NANN also took the party to social media, keeping attendees tuned in about on-site surprises, and neonatal nurses near and far updated on all the Providence fun.
