Dear Editor,
I was glad to see the article on clinical nurse specialist (CNS) programs [Gerard & Walker, 17(4)], and think it is a valuable resource for nurses considering graduate education. However, I was disappointed not to see the CNS programs from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte listed in the directory. I am aware of other programs that were not listed, including University of North Carolina Greensboro and Johns Hopkins University. I'm curious about the process used to compile the information.
UNC Charlotte offers CNS programs in adult health, psych/mental health, and community health with options for either population focus or school health focus. Information about these programs can be obtained from our Web site at http://www.health.uncc.ude/http://academic_programs.
