There have been some recent changes involving the JCRP editorial team that I am pleased to announce. First, I would like to extend an enthusiastic and sincere "thank you" to Brian W. Carlin, MD for his many years of service as one of our associate editors. Dr Carlin has been transitioning away from this role over the past few months and will soon be completing the last of his assignments. Increasing demands from his medical practice were instrumental in Dr Carlin's decision, and we wish him every success in the future.

The newest member of our editorial team is Michael J. Berry, PhD, who has recently joined us as an associate editor. Dr Berry has been at Wake Forest University for the past 32 years where he is currently Professor and Immediate Past-Chair in the Department of Health and Exercise Science. He is also an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine - Gerontology in the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr Berry is an exercise physiologist who has a distinguished list of publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a researcher who has worked on federally-funded grants. We extend a warm JCRP welcome to Dr Berry.

Finally, Leonard A. Kaminsky, PhD has been a JCRP associate editor since 2013 and, as of July 1 of this year, he has assumed the duties of Associate Editor-in-Chief. This is a new position on the editorial team and one that is intended to help streamline the editorial process and assist with behind-the-scenes administrative tasks associated with the journal. Dr Kaminsky has had a distinguished career as an educator and researcher that has focused on applied clinical exercise physiology and cardiorespiratory fitness and is co-founder of the FRIEND Registry. He is currently the John & Janice Fisher Distinguished Professor of Wellness and Professor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Ball State University. Congratulations to Dr Kaminsky on this new appointment.
