Abstract
Practice-based research networks (PBRNs) are a group of practices devoted to the care of patients, and are affiliated with each other in order to analyze clinical practices in communities. Networks consisting of primary care physicians have existed in the United States for a number of years, but until now, there have been no networks of advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs). This article describes the APRNs participating in APRNet, a newly-developed practice-based research network of APRNs providing primary care.
