Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Compare (http://bit.ly/2koNvgR), provided by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, allows patients and families to find and evaluate rehabilitation facilities by comparing infection rates, incidence of new or worsened pressure ulcers, catheter-associated urinary tract infections, and other indicators of quality that are based on government data. To start a search, users enter a zip code, city, or state. The site does not endorse any of the listed facilities. Its purpose is to help families, patients, and health care providers make more informed decisions, and to encourage inpatient rehabilitation facilities to improve the quality of care they provide.
