It's horrible how some veteran nurses can be so cruel to new nurses or students. In one of my clinicals I asked a nurse about a drug I had to give and she just sighed, rolled her eyes at me, and walked away without answering. I mentioned it to my instructor and she told me that nurse was known for acting like that to students and new nurses. I never went back to that facility for clinicals.
