Abstract

The results of this study have important implications for the treatment of PDAC, which by 2030 is projected to surpass breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers to become the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Nonetheless, progress in the treatment of this malignancy has been slow. Improvements in outcomes have been observed in patients with the increasing use of new chemotherapeutic regimens.
