Abstract

Ms. Fogg has created an exceptionally positive and healthy work environment that seems to thrive through even these most challenging periods of unprecedented change in healthcare. Despite numerous mergers, renovations, and service line changes in recent years, her unit maintains a 0% vacancy rate with a minimal turnover rate of less than 1%. In fact, the only positions to turn over on her unit in the last 5 years have been those vacated by nurses who've earned advanced degrees and moved on to advanced practice nursing or leadership positions.
