Abstract
Clinical nursing education offers the experiential learning needed to develop critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills, but it's often challenging for outside faculty members to oversee a group of students in a healthcare facility where they aren't employed.8 It can be difficult for clinical faculty members to help students engage as members of interdisciplinary teams. This limits student experiences in communicating and collaborating with other healthcare team members to plan and manage patient care, and thus restricts students' clinical practice of the QSEN teamwork and collaboration competency skills.
