I would like to thank the Editorial Board Executives for their continued commitment to the Plastic Surgical Nursing (PSN) journal and nursing education. It is an amazing, hard-working team that has dedicated their time to ensure that each issue is filled with relevant educational content. We are sorry to see Susan Lamp and Lynn Duffy step down from the board, but are elated that they will be staying on as manuscript reviewers.
Your 2017 board will continue to solicit and submit article, and will strive for global recognition of the journal.
The role of the Department Chair was designed to provide shorter, easier-to-read articles under a subheading that the board felt were important to the plastic surgical nurse.
We realize that time is a very valuable commodity; so shorter articles can be read more quickly while "on the go."
The role of the Manuscript Reviewer is a recognized and critical component to the journal submission process. Without skilled and knowledgeable reviewers, our journal would not be able to maintain the high standards that have been set forth by ASPSN. As the editor, I am very grateful for the knowledge, professionalism, and dedication that is displayed by your manuscript review panel. To recognize the time and effort involved in reviewing a manuscript, contact hours are awarded for each article reviewed.
