Abstract: Sepsis is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in pediatric burn patients. This article discusses the signs and symptoms of burn sepsis in pediatric patients, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, ongoing evaluations of therapy, and interventions to help prevent this potentially fatal infection.
