In her editorial "Why Worry About The View's Views?" (November 2015), Maureen Shawn Kennedy emphasizes the need for nurses to speak up for their profession. Nurses are oftentimes the "thread" that pulls together all aspects of patient care. We don't want to be placed on a pedestal, nor do we want to be mocked for what we do.
